It's Summer 2020

Updated: Sep 18, 2020

Hello lovely, resilient people!

It has been an interesting first half of 2020, that's for sure.

Although we've had some hard days, like everyone, we are grateful for our health, as well as the support of our family, friends and neighbours. We've stayed busy these past few months with the launch of our newest project, the Rosebud Country Market, which has been a great success! It has been so nice to see some of you come for a short visit to pick up your groceries. We are so grateful for your support. If you have not checked out the Market, you can go towww.rosebudcountrymarket.comto see what we are selling and to plan your next trip to Rosebud.

This summer, head east instead of west. The stillness and quiet of Rosebud feels even more pronounced in these times. Come and enjoy our beautiful hamlet, catch up on some reading on our lovely deck, then stretch your legs with a wander through town. You can also go for a hike at Horseshoe Canyon, just a 10 minute drive away. In Drumheller, after exploring the Royal Tyrrell Museum and the World's Largest dinosaur, stop by the new French Cafe that recently opened. Or, try Athens, an excellent family-owned Greek restaurant that has been operating for over 20 years. Of course, you'll want to save some room for pie back here in Rosebud. There is always pie!

Our cleaning procedures have always surpassed recommended guidelines, and now even more so. Typically this time of year would have us bustling, booking rooms for the Fall play. Unfortunately, the Theatre has cancelled the play, but is busy planning for a special Christmas season. Stay tuned for details.

We are now serving breakfast in the dining room! Our tables are safely distanced 6 feet apart and we are staggering the breakfast times, in order to ensure we can accommodate everyone safely.

ROSEBUD ARTISAN MARKET - AUG 15, 2020

Book in for the August 15 weekend and enjoy the first annual Rosebud Arts & Artisan Market featuring some of the best local and southern/Central Alberta artists! The show runs from 10:00 - 4:00.

OUR INAUGURAL FINE DINING EVENT - SEPT. 18 OR 19, 2020

To replace the Theatre Package, a guest suggested that we consider a Fine Dining Dinner Package, along with a night's stay. This would include a 4-course meal, with wine. The cost for the package would be $470.00 per two people for a queen room and $500.00 for our king/deluxe or two-bed room, all taxes in. If that sounds like something you would be interested in, please call or email to reserve. We are only accepting 20 guests per night. Thank you, Anne, for the suggestion!

DINOSAUR BONE DISCOVERY WEEKEND

There is such interesting geology surrounding us. Guided hikes and tours can still be booked for individuals or small groups. Please call if you are interested in an exclusive palaeo-adventure.

***PIE SHOPPE OPEN***
