I thought I would write to say hi and to let you know just what has been going on here at Rosebud Country Inn.
Many of you have asked about Ken’s health. He is doing very well and just recently had his pilot’s license reinstated. We are very grateful. He has been teaching aviation classes online, as well as a couple in person, honouring social distancing. He was also able to have an uninterrupted 6 weeks driving a combine and grain truck for a local farmer. He absolutely loves doing that. It was a bountiful harvest, which we are very thankful for.

Our Rosebud Country Market has been going very well. We have made many partnerships with folks who provide marvelous local products and we are helping to feed our neighbours with exceptional food. You can check us out at www.rosebudcountrymarket.com
Some Rosebud news…
The Thorny Rose Café has been sold and will no longer be a café. As a result, when guests come to stay with us, we have been offering either a charcuterie or a 4-course dinner. Yours truly is cooking and it really has been fun!
The Rosebud Theatre will be offering a meal and a one-man performance of The Christmas Carol. With the COVID restrictions, they are only able to welcome 62 patrons.
Thus…the Inn is going to provide a meal and a performance of “Rosebud Country Christmas” where we will feature 4 actors from Rosebud, some of whom would have been acting in the originally scheduled play “All is Calm”. The price will be the same as a Theatre Package – Queen Room - $380 for 2 people and King/Deluxe or Two-Bed room for $407.25. We do have single’s rates…so not to worry.
The dates that we have set aside for this are: November 6th, 14th, 19th and 27th and December 4th (already sold out), 11th and 19th.
There will be a maximum of 16 people in our dining room, unless there is a large group in the same cohort. This is the most efficient way to honour the social distancing protocol, as outlined by our health inspector.

I am keeping very occupied adjusting our hospitality offering almost on a weekly basis, in order to comply with the guidelines set out for us. We have been able to welcome many new people to the Inn, from many parts of Canada. That has been an absolute delight.
