Bill Bloss Finds Juvenile Gorgosaurus, "Blossom"

Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology (@RoyalTyrrellMuseum ) writes in a Facebook Post January 11, 2021:

"Staff nicknamed this juvenile Gorgosaurus “Blossom”—a combination of “Bloss” (honouring local fossil hunter Bill Bloss, who found it) and “awesome.” The specimen, discovered south of Alberta’s Dinosaur Provincial Park in 2015, is one of the smallest known near-complete tyrannosaur skeletons from North America. #MonikerMonday
