Happy New Year!
From everyone here at Rosebud Country Inn, we would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. We are so grateful for your support this year and overwhelmed by the kindness of our neighbours, collaborating businesses and our guests.
What is happening at the Rosebud Country Inn in 2021?
We are hopeful that as the year progresses, things will start to get back to a place where we can have more interactions with each other. Sometime early in the year, if restrictions allow, we will continue our Christmas in Rosebud Package, with a twist! Many of our guests are raving about this incredible performance by Kelsey K and the Korona Kids. We will have more about this after the Province's decision on January 11.
February will all be about love. We are planning to be featuring romantic getaways as well as loving getaways fun for the family!

A few of the highlights from 2020
January & February 2020
Because of renovations, rooms were closed for the month of January.
Ken and I travelled again to work with Habitat for Humanity, along with students from Trinity Western University, in beautiful Kauai.
Spring 2020
First start of the pandemic, many businesses shut down. In the meantime, you know me – I can't sit still for long! Thanks to all of my friends in the local farming, craft and artisan products scene, we launched a beautiful service that we were proud to call The Rosebud Country Market.
It’s a one-stop shop where you can fill your fridge and pantry with the freshest goods from the most local of makers and farmers. Go to www.rosebudcountrymarket.com to browse through our inventory of fresh local produce and baking, eggs, dairy, meat, coffee, household cleaning products and more! Order online before Thursday, then come by the following Saturday to safely pick up your package from the porch at the Inn.
Summer 2020
It was an interesting first half of 2020, that's for sure.
Although we had some hard days, like everyone, we were grateful for our health, as well as the support of our family, friends and neighbours. We stayed busy with the launch of our newest project, the Rosebud Country Market, which has been a great success! It has been so nice to see some of you come for a short visit to pick up your groceries. We are so grateful for your support!
Fall 2020
3...2...1... reveal!
We gave the Inn a fresh coat of paint and absolutely love the new colour!
The Rosebud Country Inn was featured under 'where to stay' in Head to the Canadian Badlands for an unexpected adventure: Spirit of the Canadian Badlands.
We were also in A SOLO GETAWAY IN RURAL ALBERTA: By Andrea, Grey Arrow Farm.
Winter 2020
Country Christmas in Rosebud - A Musical Theatrical Performance
We launched a package with in-house entertainment and a Christmas meal. For the Month of November and December (on select dates). Guests enjoyed a one-night stay and dinner for two and live musical theatrical performance by Kelsey K and the Korona Kids! It was a fantastic success, but was suspended due to provincial regulations and new guidelines. We hope to start our package again early in 2021.
Rosebud Country Inn was one of the businesses featured on CTV with the on Location with Lane segment.
As the year came to a close, Ken and I got a sneak peek with Santa in Rosebud. Ken enjoyed driving him around and I even snuck in for a quick photo op!
