There's a lot going on in this little hamlet of ours. Personally, I've been working with Travel Alberta as part of their SHiFT program. This is a travel training program designed for tourism businesses who want to learn the key ingredients to creating experiences that deliver goosebump moments. We hosted 34 Travel Alberta folks for dinner and a bath salt making session with Shelley Rymal from Nature Essential Garden, using local botanicals and essential oils. They loved the experience and Ken and I are excited to continue working with them, and host new visitors from around the world.
We also have some new events coming up. We are looking forward to our first ever Mother's Day getaway. On May 14 start your Sunday morning with brunch at the Mercantile. Then head back to the Inn to relax, and spend the afternoon session learning how to make homemade bath salts with local botanicals. We'll end the day with a lovely supper, and our famous pie.
